quince girl.jpg

Quince Girl, a resource for Hispanic women planning quincenaeras, will debut on March 1, 2006 as an annual publication with a rate base of 300,000, the magazine says, and has plans to increase its frequency to twice a year in 2007.

Quince Media LLC says Quince Girl will launch as the first and only national magazine for young women and their mothers approaching and planning a quinceanera. It will be sold on newsstands in major Hispanic markets across the country for a cover price of $5.99 and will be distributed by Kable News.

The magazine will be written primarily in English. Amber Matassa, formerly of Bride’s, will oversee Quince Girl’s editorial team and the design will be headed by art director Rosann Berry, previously of Sports Illustrated. Quince Girl’s sales offices are based in Denver, Colorado under the direction of President and Publisher Will Cain.
