‘Tis the Season for Mall Advertising

adspace networks.jpg

NYC’s AdSpace Networks offers full-motion video ads for display on screens located throughout 22 U.S. malls in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and Sacramento, Media Life writes. There are an average of 15 displays per mall, showing an average of 2,000 spots per day.

Plasma screens - both double- and single-sided - measure 60 inches. Programming consists of advertising and entertainment, with 15-second ad spots featuring local and national advertisers, and 20-second spots devoted to in-mall promotions. The programming runs in 6-minute loops, and an advertiser can change a promotion daily.

Costs range from $10,000 to $3,000, based on a 15-second ad on all the screens at one location for 30 days.
