PBS Brings Back ‘Monty Python’

In a six-episode introduction entitled Monty Python’s Personal Best, PBS will bring the current generation the funniest moments from the 1970s BBC TV series Monty Python’s Flying Circus, writes Media Life.

Beginning February 22nd, the hour-long episodes will air Wednesdays in two-hour blocks over the following three weeks. Each episode will combine clips from the original show with unseen footage.

Being a public broadcaster, PBS cannot expect big ratings, but the show should do well given the popularity of the group. Five members of the original troupe collaborated to write and produce the episodes.
