On the heels of a recent redesign, FamilyFun magazine is offering advertisers new opportunities to reach consumers via a series of marketing programs and initiatives in the coming months. This spring FamilyFun will sponsor PTO Today’s School “Fun and Games Nights,” with activities and events for kids and parents at their local schools.
FamilyFun will team up with Wal-Mart in late summer for a Back-to-School Blitz, a five-hour family event taking place at five Wal-Mart stores across the United States. Each event consists of face painting, FamilyFun crafts, and a safety demonstration by local fire departments.
FamilyFun will also embark on a “Making Holidays Magic” Mall Tour, along with Wondertime and Disney Adventures (both Disney Publishing properties). The tour will occur on three consecutive Saturdays in October, and will showcase toys, games, software, and other products at the biggest malls in America.
