My Network TV Distribution up to 45 Percent of U.S.

Fox’s My Network TV picked up six more affiliates yesterday, increasing its U.S. distribution to 45 percent, Broadcasting & Cable writes.

The network has gained two Meredith Broadcasting stations - WB affiliate KSMO Missouri and KPDX in Oregon - as well as UPN affiliate out of St. Louis, WRBU; Venture Technologies Group’s WNYA in New York; QueenB Television’s WKBT in Wisconsin; and Television Wisconsin’s WISC in Madison.

To date, My Network TV - which will launch September 5, the same day as rival startup The CW - has affiliates in 38 markets, including 18 of the 30 top markets. As of the beginning of the week, CW was claiming coverage in 54 percent of the U.S.
