BzzAgent Launches WOM Campaigns in Canada

BzzAgent, a word of mouth marketing agency, is launching a total of five new buzz campaigns in Canada, according to the company. David Balter, found of BzzAgent, said he expects the Canadian network to grow quickly, as the U.S. network is growing at about 4,000 members per week. The company is currently recruiting Canadian buzz agents on its site.

The campaigns include those for clients Unilever and Penguin publishing house, each of which will use trained Canadian “agents” to engage consumers and discuss products, writes Mediapost.

Balter hopes to expand into Europe next, and feels the Canada expansion is the first step in doing that.
