Lad mag Maxim is celebrating its seventh annual Hot 100 issue this week in New York by throwing a Hot 100 event, with Moving Pictures DPI, Dennis Publishing’s TV/DVD/film division, and Pontiac teaming up to create the branded affair, writes Adrants.
The May 17 episode of ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live will include a live broadcast mini-concert from the Pontiac Garage by Christina Milian - both a Def Jam recording star and Maxim Hot 100 star. In addition to the Maxim Online and Pontiac nationwide online sweepstakes that starts May 17, the Hot 100 promotion includes an hour-long Maxim Hot 100 special co-produced by Moving Pictures DPI and VH1, which will air May 30 and feature Nip/Tuck star Kelly Carlson as the host.
Maxim is also preparing to remove editor-in-chief Ed Needham as Felix Dennis tries to cut costs.
