Retailers and customers can now ship footwear using the U.S. Postal Service’s new Priority Mail Shoe Box released May 4, writes DM News.
In the USPS’s response to the need for a convenient box in which to ship or return shoes, the boxes are designed for footwear and clothing retailers, as well as direct-to-customer companies.
New Balance shoe company owner Larry Gershberg said he currently uses the general boxes available, but is working with the USPS to create a custom, co-branded box that would fit both large-sized athletic shoes as well as smaller ladies dress shoes.
