Radio Disney - the network’s 52 radio stations plus the programming distributed on satellite radio - is reorganizing management in preparation for the pending merger of many of ABC Radio’s stations and Citadel Broadcasting. The merger does not include ABC owned stations under the Radio Disney brands and networks.
Radio Disney will be organized under the Disney-ABC Television Group, and will be managed by Rich Ross, president of the Disney Channel Worldwide, Mediaweek writes. Former senior vp of programming for the Disney Channel, Jill Casagrande, will take on the role of senior vp and general manager of the Radio Disney Network and will report to Ross.
