Online advertising network Burst Media has begun to offer advertisers NetStream, a PointRoll product designed to deliver streaming video ads within rich-media-enabled 300×250 ad units.
Advertisers can use their existing video creative to extend their brand messaging to large targeted audiences within Burst Network’s 3,400 sites, the company said. PointRoll’s NetStream features a customizable player skin and an optional rich media companion or “leave behind” ad.
“Burst intends to create as many different kinds of video opportunities for our publishers and advertisers as possible. Due to the diversity of content and publishers within the network, the NetStream solution enables advertisers to use their existing video assets as quickly as possible, and helps publishers run video ads when they may not have much discreet video inventory” says Bob Hanna, Burst’s SVP of sales, according to MarketingVox.
In addition to Gannett’s PointRoll, Burst has vendor partnerships with Eyeblaster, Klipmart and Viewpoint.
