‘Newsweek’ Names New Editor

Newsweek will reportedly get a new editor shortly after Labor Day.

Editor Mark Whitaker, who has been at the helm of the magazine since 1998, will move aside for Jon Meacham, currently the managing editor, sources told the New York Post. Whitaker is expected to remain with Newsweek, though it is unclear what position he will take on, according to the article.
