PennySaver Makes Deal with Midwest Papers

PennySaverUSA.com and Midwest Free Community Papers have formed a partnership, whereby PennySaver is designated as MFCP’s vendor of choice for web services and MFCP will market and support the PennySaverUSA.com website.

The partnership will allow individual MFCP members to receive web classified services and to list their own online classified ads, writes DM News.

PennySaverUSA.com is owned by PennySaver, which has more than 1,100 community editions for a circulation of 13 million in California and Florida. MFCP is a nonprofit organization representing more than 140 community newspapers and shoppers in 12 midwest state regions. Each publication within the MFCP that joins PennySaverUSA.com will gain access to the nationwide database of local classified ads it can use to augment its own local listings.

In July, PennySaver entered a similar relationship with the Association of Free Community Papers on behalf of its 2,000 member community papers and shoppers, which extended PennySaver’s circulation into 45 million homes.
