Harte-Hanks Inc. has agreed to buy AberdeenGroup Inc. in a deal that will give the direct marketing services giant access to AberdeenGroup’s research in 17 business areas, as well as reports and benchmarking data from more than 25,000 companies tracked over two years.
Terms of the deal, which is expected to close by month’s end, were not disclosed, writes DM News. The acquired company will operate as Harte-Hank’s AberdeenGroup, and will be able to use Harte-Hanks’ Ci Technology Database, which tracks technology infrastructure, business profiles and technology purchase plans at 680,000 locations across the U.S., Canada, Latin America and Europe.
