The Federal Trade Commission has proposed an amendment to the Telemarketing Sales Rule that would change the method for measuring the maximum allowable call abandonment rate from 3 percent a day per calling campaign to 3 percent per 30-days, per calling campaign.
The FTC currently limits call abandonment rates at 3 percent per day, per campaign, but the Federal Communications Commission places the limit at 3 percent over a 30-day period, writes DM News.
