Wilks Broadcast Group Snaps up Seven CBS Stations

Wilks Broadcast Group has entered into a definitive agreement with CBS to acquire 7 of CBS’s radio stations - four in Kansas City and three in Columbus, Ohio.

The stations are KFKF-FM, KBEQ-FM, KMXV-FM and KCKC-FM in Kansas City, and WLVQ-FM, WHOK-FM and WAZU-FM in Columbus, reports Radio Ink.

CBS has been working to divest itself of radio stations in smaller markets with less revenue-producing potential.
