VH1 to Launch Six New, Unscripted Shows

VH1 has six new unscripted series in the works, including a reality series chronicling hip hop magnate Irv Gotti’s attempt at a comeback after beating an investigation into a money laundering scheme.

Other programs include Man Band, which reunites former boy band stars to see if they can rise once again, and Bridging the Gap, which pairs recording artists together for a day, writes Mediaweek.

“The breadth of this slate of music-based series illustrates, once again, that VH1 is the only place for adults to go to see the kinds of music and storytelling that speaks only to them,” Brian Graden, president, entertainment, MTV Networks Music Group is quoted as saying.
