Hallmark Ups Rate Base

With just one issue under its belt, Hallmark Magazine is rasing its rate base 35 percent to 550,000.

The new rates are effective with the January/February issue, Mediaweek reportsHallmark Magazine launched in August with the September/October issue and publishes bimonthly.

The magazine closed ad sales for its first issue 30 percent above projected goals for revenue and 20 percent above goals for pages. The single ad planned for a Hallmark brand got bumped for lack of space. Advertisers include Estee Lauder, Epson, Unilever and Kraft.
