Chase recently implemented an outdoor campaign designed to encourage students to sign up for Chase’s +1 Group on Facebook.com. Students on 17 college campuses were invited to take “Bicytaxis” to and from campus and their various dorms and fraternity/sorority houses.
The campaign, created by Trash Talk Outdoor, included Bicytaxi drivers who were outfitted in branded apparel and who delivered talking points promoting the +1 Group, as well as postcards with a sweepstakes component.
The +1 credit card/loyalty program is geared specifically toward college students. Midway through the program over 29,000 students had enrolled in the program. The program was written up in most of the participating college newspapers.
