Direct marketing services provider Direct Group has acquired HintonHill, a full-service direct marketing management and consulting company.
With the acquisition, HintonHill clients will benefit from access to the production capacity, resources and buying power of “one of the world’s largest-volume, single-site commercial mailing facilities,” Direct Group CEO Don McKenzie is quoted as saying in DM News.
Direct Group will benefit from the knowledge of Don Hill and Barry Hinton, well-known industry executives. Hinton Hill’s outsourcing and project-management skills will allow Direct Group to take on smaller projects that haven’t fit well with the company’s manufacturing environment in the past, McKenzie says.
He adds that the acquisition is a good fit because HintonHill specializes in the mortgage, nonprofit, and travel/leisure space, while Direct Group focuses on credit card, insurance and telecommunications.
