Clear Channel Outdoor and APN News & Media’s joint venture, Adshel Street Furniture Pty Ltd, has won a 15-year street furniture contract for the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), Australia. The ACT is home to the national capital city of Canberra.
Under the contract the company will provide up to 314 bus shelters incorporating over 266 advertising panels across the ACT, a large proportion of these in the capital Canberra.
“The Australian street furniture business has grown rapidly over the past few years,” said Steve McCarthy, CEO of Adshel Street Furniture. “Adding the ACT, and in particular Canberra to our network will give advertisers high quality coverage in our country’s capital city.”
