MIVA has created an ad network for publishers, allowing publishers to place a MIVA-powered search box on their sites for pay-per-click ads. The network also offers content-targeted ads and in-text hyperlink ads.

The content-targeted ads appear in ad units standardized by the IAB, while the in-text hyperlink ads appear within the content and pop up when the mouse is moved over them, writes MediaPost.

The ad network, MIVA Monetization Center, was created to provide more customization and transparency than the larger competitors, according to Chrysi Philalithes, vp of marketing and global communication for MIVA.
