Trans-Lux Installs Digital Billboards in Louisiana, Canada

Manufacturer of electronic displays Trans-Lux Corporation has announced the sale of its first two standalone, full color outdoor LED digital billboards.

The first was installed earlier this month at a high-traffic intersection in southern Louisiana. The second, sold through an advertising company, will be installed during the first quarter on a Sears property in Canada to generate ad revenue for the retail chain and to promote the individual store’s own products and services. Both billboards feature the Color CaptiVue technology which, according to the company, is an advanced electronic display system with modular construction, “superior” LED clarity and brightness, wide viewing angles and a palette of 16.7 million colors.
