Turner Broadcasting and EchoStar Communications have signed an affiliation agreement that allows Court TV to be distributed on Dish Network.
Although the financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed, the new carriage deal pushes Court TV down a notch, moving the network to DISH Net’s “America’s Top 200” package, the satellite operator’s middle tier, Mediaweek reports. The move could cost Court TV in the neighborhood of 3 million viewers
Court TV will be carried in its former channel position 204.
Dish had pulled the plug on Court TV as a result of stalled carriage negotiations.
