Paddock Joins Yahoo Ad Consortium

Paddock Publications has become the 10th charter member of the national consortium between newspaper companies and Yahoo, Editor&Publisher reports.

Paddock’s Daily Herald has begun uploading its local jobs to the HotJobs.com online platform. The Yahoo site has 1.1 million registered job seekers in Illinois, Paddock said.

The consortium also includes the newspaper groups Belo Interactive, Cox Newspapers, Hearst Communications, Journal Register Company, Lee Enterprises, Media General, MediaNews Group, Morris Communications, and Scripps Howard Publishing. About 225 newspapers are in the consortium.
