Air America Completes Sale to Green Family Media

Left-leaning network Air America Radio has closed its sale to Green Family Media. Scott Elberg will remain aboard as chief operating officer, while Stephen Green will be chairman of the board and Mark Green - frequent guest host on the network - will be president, writes Mediaweek.

The new owners have announced a new operating structure and a commitment to turning the struggling network around. This focus will include new programming and an expanded distribution network. The new owners will also look to distribute programming “outside the radio box,” including the web, mobile, video and broadband, according to Mark Green.
