NBC has decided to stick with its Thursday programming block, including keeping 30 Rock alive for another season.
NBC Entertainment president Kevin Reilly calls 30 Rock’s audience “increasingly loyal” and says he expects it to continue to build its audience, according to MediaPost.
The half-hour comedy will move into a 9 p.m. time slot in a couple of weeks, after having been run mainly at 9:30 Thursdays but also for awhile at 8 p.m. on Wednesdays.
The show is one of the most upscale on television, which makes it valuable to NBC even when ratings are not as high as some of its other shows. The network says it has a 28 percent higher rating for viewers 18-49 with an income of $100,000 or more than across all adults 18-49.
