Database marketing agency Merkle has acquired direct marketing agency CFM Direct, writes BtoB. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Merkle’s Commercial Markets group, which CFM Direct will join, works with financial services, retail, high-tech, automotive, pharmaceutical, CPG, telecommunications and media clients.
Merkle president and CEO David Williams said in a statement that Merkle has been aware of CFM Direct and the company’s “outstanding work and reputation” for a number of years. Merkle sees significant opportunity in the financial services sector, and the acquisition of CFM Direct will serve to further the company’s capabilities within the market, he said.
The deal gives Merkle offices in Chicago and Philadelphia.
