Rosie O’Donnell’s days on The View are numbered. The co-host will leave the show in mid-June, due to the inability of O’Donnell and ABC to reach a contract agreement, according to ABC.com (via Fishbowl NY).
“They wanted me three years, I wanted one year, and it just didn’t work,” O’Donnell said on today’s show. Rose will still appear on the show, but she will not be an every day host. President of daytime programming at Disney-ABC Television Group Brian Frons said that, “Going in we knew we would have an amazing year with her, and that anything beyond that would be gravy.”
