Discovery Plans 14 Mobile Series

Discovery Communications plans to launch 14 original mobile series this year, on its 24-hour mobile network, Discovery Mobile.

Four of the shows will revolve around Discovery’s PlanetGreen initiative, writes Mediaweek. Other shows in the works are a show called What Are the Odds, a series that explores the odds of rare occurrences, and TLC’s Life Essentials, a show that provides basic tips on such disparate topics as raising children and throwing dinner parties.
