‘The Dog House’ Hosts Canned by CBS Radio

The CBS Radio show The Dog House with JV and Elvis has been cancelled and its two hosts have been sacked, following an on-air phone call during which they made racial slurs against Asians, writes Yahoo News.
The show was cancelled after the hosts, Jeff Vandergrift and Dan Lay, made a prank call on April 5 to a Chinese restaurant during which they ordered “slimp flied lice” and compared food items to certain parts of the body. The on-air call was made the day after Don Imus made the remark about the Rutgers women’s basketball team that resulted in his firing. The call was replayed on the air a week later.
