Rosie O’Donnell will be meeting with FremantleMedia this week, possibly to discuss replacing host Bob Barker on The Price Is Right.
O’Donnell, who has been approached by several studios since her departure from The View, has said on her blog that, if asked to host the show, “i sure would,” writes the New York Daily News.
Bob Barker told reporters, after getting a Lifetime Achievement Emmy, that O’Donnell knows the show and there is no doubt in his mind that she could do the show.
“Now, whether they want a lady host, I don’t know. I’ve never heard that discussed. As far as I know, they’ve only auditioned men,” he is quoted as saying.
