Metro New York is launching a new monthly newspaper, to be included within Metro New York’s Friday Weekend Edition, that will deliver a mix of news and information about New York City Parks.
The edition will include exclusive information on upcoming events and entertainment, seasonal highlights, athletic programs and general park guides. It will be created in partnership with New York City Parks & Recreation.
In addition to being distributed within Metro New York’s Friday Weekend Edition - which is distributed to over 300,000 New Yorkers the Parks edition will be distributed at various Parks locations throughout the summer. There will be bonus distribution at select Park events including Central Park Summer Stage, New York Philharmonic and City Park Concerts.
Metro is published in over 100 major cities in 21 countries across Europe, North & South America and Asia, and was recently named World’s Largest Global Newspaper by Guinness World Records, according to the company.
Katz Media Group has added another new client, Lincoln Financial Media, and will sell ad time on the company’s 15 stations beginning immediately.
