Silverman Ben Silverman made a number of surprise announcements during his first appearance as NBC’s co-chair of entertainment at the Television Critics Association press tour in Beverly Hills.
Silverman announced several changes in the fall schedule, according to Broadcasting & Cable: Monday night’s shows will be Chuck, Heroes and Journeyman; Tuesdays will be a 90-minute Biggest Loser followed by a 30-minute Singing Bee and Law & Order: SVU; and Fridays will be Deal or No Deal followed by Friday Night Lights and Las Vegas. 1 vs. 100 will go on hiatus, but could come back at mid-season.
He also announced that The Apprentice, which Trump quit when he learned the show wasn’t on the fall schedule, will come back at some point, as a celebrity edition with the money going to charity.
