Boston Legal, Heroes, Ugly Betty Snare Emmy Noms

Top series nominees for this year’s prime time Emmy Awards include Boston Legal, Heroes, Ugly Betty, 30 Rock, The Sopranos and The Office.

Desperate Housewives and 24 were not included in the list, writes TV Barn. HBO led the networks with 86 nominations, with Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee pulling 17, more than any other program this year.

The shows that won nominations this year all had critical buzz as well as high visibility. Boston Legal, Grey’s Anatomy, Heroes, House, and The Sopranos were all nominated for Best Drama. 30 Rock, Entourage, The Office, Two and a Half Men and Ugly Betty received nominations for Best Comedy, according to E Online.
