Playboy Offers Mobile Users Non-Nude Playmate Pictures

Playboy magazine has soft-launched a mobile website, providing non-nude content to mobile phones via a partnership with Quattro Wireless.

Users will be able to view photos of Playboy playmates and read their personal interviews, read the advice column Playboy Advisor, access reviews of music, games and books, and read the Playboy Joke of the Day, writes DM News.

Advertisers include AXE Vice body spray and Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

The site already has a large audience, says Quattro CEO Andy Miller, and adds that the clickthrough rate for mobile is “ridiculously high.” Even the slowest of campaigns average a 3 percent clickthrough.

Other Quattro clients include CollegeHumor.com, StupidVideos.com and Maxim.
