Nationwide Takes over NASCAR Where Busch Leaves Off

Nationwide Insurance has penned a deal to become the sponsor of the No. 2 series of NASCAR, formerly known as the Busch Series.

The seven-year agreement is reported to be worth between $70 million and $80 million, writes SportBusiness.com. Nationwide will also be the official home, auto and life insurance provider of NASCAR.

Anheuser-Busch sponsored the series for 26 years, but decided last year not to renew.
