iBiquity Digital Corporation, the developer of digital HD Radio technology, announced today that it has re-launched its retail sales training website.
The site, www.hdradiouniversity.com, is designed to educate retail sales people who are currently selling HD Radio products across the United States.
“The sales staffs at more than 10,000 retail locations, including Best Buy, BJs, Circuit City, Fry’s, Pro Group members, RadioShack, Sharper Image, Wal-mart and online at Crutchfield and Amazon.com, and many more, are crucial to the consumer experience of HD Radio broadcasting,” says Bernie Sapienza, vp, retail business development for iBiquity. “We have designed HD Radio University to be a straight-forward, efficient approach to helping salespeople stay up-to-date on new products and maximize their sales.”
iBiquity intends to stay in touch with licensee partners and retailers in order to frequently update the site according to their needs, Sapienza says.
HD Radio broadcasting is now available to over 80 percent of the population, with more than 1,500 AM/FM stations currently offering digital content.
