Mediamark Research Inc. (MRI) announced (pdf) that it has earned the highest “Overall Satisfaction” score among the syndicated audience measurement companies cited in the second annual “Quality and Value of Market Research Suppliers” study the survey by Inside Research, reports MarketingCharts.
The study, jointly sponsored by “Inside Research,” a monthly newsletter for research industry executives, and Prevision Surveys, questioned 174 purchasers of media and market research with budgets averaging $12 million each, via a 20-minute phone interview. Respondents were asked to name, unaided, three suppliers they used and their satisfaction with each.
MRI received an overall satisfaction score of 3.9, based on a rating scale of 1 to 5, with 5 the highest rating (see table). Respondents rated satisfaction on seven attributes: overall satisfaction; data quality; analytical skills; communications skills; on-time delivery; relative cost and value-for-money.
