WPP Group has acquired Blast Radius, a leading interactive agency based in Vancouver, B.C. The agency claims clients such as Nike, Starbucks and Whirlpool among its roster.
Revenue for the agency was about $43 million, writes The New York Times.
This is the second time in six weeks that WPP has bought a leading interactive agency as part of a digital shopping spree. In September, the company purchased Schematic, an interactive agency in Los Angeles.
Wunderman, one of WPP’s largest divisions, already acquired two digital agencies this year: Aqua Online, in South Africa, and These Days, in Belgium.
WPP also purchased 24/7 Real Media for $649 million in July.
