Zillow.com Signs Deal with 280 Newspapers

Real estate advertisers who place their ads in certain local papers will have the opportunity to post their listings on real estate website Zillow.com, thanks to a partnership between Zillow and 11 newspaper companies.

The newspapers will be able to use Zillow’s platform to enhance their online sites, writes Editor & Publisher.

The eleven companies - including Hearst Newspapers, Lee Enterprises, Media General, MediaNews Group, Morris Communications, Paddock Publications, Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, E.W. Scripps, Times-Shamrock Communications, Journal Register Co. and the Day Publishing Co. - represent 280 newspapers.

The partnership, which is an extension of the Yahoo alliance, will see features being rolled out in the first half of 2008.

Zillow is one of the largest real estate websites, according to the article.
