Six Flags Theme Parks is launching a place-based media network to advertisers that will reach consumers via several different media channels within its 21 parks and online.
The network will launch in March, though some of the elements of the network, such as radio, are already in place, writes MediaPost.
Six Flags Television will reach visitors while waiting in lines, via 45-inch plasma TVs, which will play a mix of entertainment and advertising. The Outdoor element of the network includes billboards and digital signage, equipped - as is the Television element - with Bluetooth technology. Some signs will also be equipped with cool-mist showers to soothe visitors on hot summer days.
Other elements of the network include Attraction Integration, Experiential Marketing and Online.
