Domino’s Launches Custom/Social Pizza Ordering Online

A new online promotion called BFD, or Big Fantastic Deal, gives pizza lovers the chance to create their own pizza masterpiece through a flash-based microsite.

Users can specify the crust, amount of sauce and cheese, and unlimited toppings for $10.99. Users can also name and register their perfect pizza for other users to try, MarketingVox writes.

So far, over 12,000 pizzas have been registered, with names like “Happy Birthday Aaron” and “Rhonda Half Doug Half,” according to Springwise. Currently, the most popular custom pizza is “Ciao Bella,” which has been ordered 83,000 times.

Earlier this year, Pizza Hut launched text-based ordering at all of its chains nationwide.
