NBC, Fox Ink Mobile Ad Deals with JumpTap

NBC and Fox have inked deals with ad network JumpTap to target ads to mobile users based on prior search behavior

The ads will be run on NBC properties such as NBC Sports, Universal Pictures, and USA Network, and Fox’s new Mobile Entertainment Network, which includes programming like 24, The Simpsons and Prison Break.

JumpTap will offer the capabilities to launch interactive features, such as SMS messaging campaigns, according to Mass High Tech.

U.S. mobile ad spending was $33.2 million in 2007, and is expected to grow to $1.4 billion by 2012. Other companies building mobile ad networks include Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, AdMob and Third Screen Media.
