Ah, the delights of the beach: the sun, the sand, the waves, the bucket filled with promotional schwag…. Beach Buckets, out of Cape Cod, offers advertisers the chance to fill pails with product samples, brochures, coupons and other promotional goodies for distribution to high-end cottage renters.
The lid of the bucket and the bucket itself can be branded; buckets are passed out from May through October, writes Media Life. Advertisers can choose a limited run of time and target a specific area of the beach, or they can sign on for the entire summer and the whole beach. Cost is $6,000 for the entire season.
Beach Buckets distributes about 30,000 buckets throughout the summer and early fall, through 110 realty offices that handle rentals.
