Entercom’s net revenues for the first quarter decreased 4 percent to $95.4 million; same station net revenues also decreased 4 percent, and same station operating income decreased 5 percent.
Free cash flow increased 67 percent to $11.4 million, the company announced today.

Field, president/CEO said in a statement: “We are pleased to report that during the first quarter, Entercom achieved strong growth in both free cash flow and adjusted net income per share and moderate growth in EBITDA despite the challenging state of the U.S. economy. We expect to continue to grow our free cash flow for the remainder of 2008, aided by lower expected financing costs this year.”
