Miller beer has signed on to become the official beer of Westgate City Center, a single-developer, mixed-use real estate property in Glendale, Arizona, with advertising opps offered by Clear Channel Branded Cities.
Westgate boasts the largest collective grouping of media structures in the country outside of Times Square in NYC, anchored by the Jobing.com Arena and the University of Phoenix Stadium, according to Clear Channel. The Miller Brewing Company sponsorship gives Miller a primary tenant position for Miller’s brands on the full-motion LED screen, which spans 1,500 square feet located in Westgate’s Events Plaza. In addition to the static location on the LED screen, Miller gets 16 minutes per hour of full-motion video advertising in the Events Plaza.
Miller also gets exclusive beer rights at promotional events and activities surrounding the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, as well as professional football, hockey, auto racing and live music performances taking place at or near Westgate. Miller branded content will be delivered to Westgate visitors via WestgateMobile, a Bluetooth application active throughout the entertainment, shopping, dining and residential development.
Other top advertisers that have signed with Clear Channel for Westgate sponsorships include Nissan and Qwest.
Westgate is expected to draw over 26 million visitors per year upon full build-out.
