BN.com Offers Steep Discounts on Mag Subscriptions

Barnes & Noble’s online store will begin selling subscriptions - at deep discounts - to more than 1,000 print and digital magazines.

A one-year subscription to Men’s Health will sell for $24.95, for example, rather than its $45 cover price.

Unlike other discount magazine sites, BN.com will be the only retailer to offer the subscriptions in an “integrated shopping experience,” according to BN.com CEO Marie Toulantis (via Folio). The company has partnered with subscription agency M2 Media Group for print subscriptions, and with Zinio for digital orders.

BN.com will also offer more than 12,000 back issues of hundreds of titles for single copy purchase.
