Nintendo is focusing its latest Wii campaign on women. The newest game, Wii Fit, is a fitness game scheduled to hit stores on May 19 and, while the game is geared toward both men and women, the company thinks it will really appeal to working moms.
The game offers more than 40 activities and exercises, in categories including aerobics, balance, strength training and yoga, writes MediaPost. The campaign includes print ads and TV, as well as an event in New York’s Central Park on launch day and taxi and subway ads in the Big Apple. In LA, an entire side of a building will promote the game, along with a billboard on Sunset Boulevard. There will also be ads in bus shelters across the country.
