Judson Laipply, the hipster who developed the hit YouTube video Evolution of Dance, travels to high schools to motivate students. Now, Campus Media Group is lining up marketers to sponsor Laipply’s tour.
The sponsored tour will take place September through November, 2008, with opportunities for sponsors including product placement, sampling, verbal product endorsement, on-stage product signage, signage at the entrance to auditoriums, promotion on the Evolution of Dance website, and student meet-and-greets with sponsor logos as photo backdrops, according to Media Life.
Laipply’s presentations focus on the power of choice and end with his popular dance routine. His Evolution of Dance video is the No. 1 most-viewed video and No. 1 favorite of all time on YouTube. It has been viewed 87.5 million times.
Cost for a sponsorship is $7,000 per show, with a discount after 25 shows.
