‘Relish’ Increases Circ to 15MM

Relish, the relatively new monthly food magazine distributed in newspapers, is increasing its circulation from 12 million to 15 million beginning with its January 2009 issue.

Ad pages are up 29.4 percent for the first half of 2008, compared with the same period last year, according to Publishers Information Bureau figures (via Folio), while ad revenues are up more than 80 percent.

Senior vp of group publishing for Relish publisher, the Publishers Group of America, describes the magazine as a “rocket.”

“It has resonated with advertisers, publishers and readers, and we’ve been extremely happy with its success so far. We never expected this much demand,” she says.
